     Off and on you will notice some of us devotees are not. I just spent the
past week-end in the Wallawa Mountains of Eastern Oregon for family reunion.
As A way of raising funds for the following year I have been nearly told,
don't come if you aren't bringing iris for the auction. Of course I came, with
iris in tow! The weather was perfect, not to hot or cold. The lake temp was
great, the fishing was good- but the huckleberries were long gone! Great place
to visit. Lots more family came than I expected.  That is a very cold place in
the winter, but I dfid see iris planted in most gardens.
