Same here. Opening an order, wondering wether the rz's you ordered are
all there, if they are nice and plump with babies, and if there are a
few freebies, is much like scratching a scratch lotto ticket.
As I accumulate more rz's I get less enthusiastic about extras. Most of
the extras are good increasers that few have ordered, probably because
they are good increasers and get shared around. These will soon take up
too much space in my garden. Occasionally there will be a much coveted
new release.
Someone mentioned recently that the best way to decrease the demand for
a particular cv is to reduce the price. I'm sure the growers know what
they are doing and are taking into account the psychology of the buyer.
Over here it is the big, well established companies giving out freebies,
and they don't seem to be going broke!
