Re: Seedling size and increase

Celia writes of her seedlings:

runt didn't sprout until summer; it has five slender leaves and they cup
decidely at the base.

the main fan, one immediately behind.....

My TB and IB seedlings are around 3-4" and starting to produce 4th and
5th leaves. They measure only 1/4" at the base. At what stage, or age
can I expect them to produce increase? I had it in my mind that they
would grow into rhizomes first, then produce increase.
