Like Donald, I don't like asking for specific gifts. I do as Christy
suggests, and put down plenty of names. I am sometimes disappointed that
they had all my first choice, so that I didn't get some I had listed (so
I sometimes place a second order!). I usually find that I get bonus
irises from the list suggested.
As far as beardless iris go, I have had generous extras from Graeme
Grosvenor, Barry Blyth and the Pryors.

Suggestions for what to do with extras:
Send them to another iris-talker
Donate them to your club, or a school fundraiser,
Hook one of your neighbors on irises by giving them these freebies.
Pot and sell in flower, or give as gifts
Make Orris powder (only joking :-)
