Hi, Leslie.

If they are freshly planted and have not taken root yet just snatch them out
of the dirt and put them in a dry bag and put them somewhere dry for the
duration. Do this before the rains come and plant them again later. They will
be fine. If they have taken firm root, you might try that business of making
wire hairpins to pin them down but I'd make the stick-in legs a good 12 inches
long and crimp them for more grip . A brick on each may or may not stay put or
hold them down, but I would not bother to try to cover with a tarp or a
plastic since the wind will tear it off immediately. Similarly do not try to
cover with any pots or anything since the pressure will just lift them and
blow them away.

Let us know when it passes, Leslie, for we will be thinking of you.
