Trends come and go, I do like purple and orange - has everyone seen the
Jolly Joker Pansy? Pastels were the rage for awhile, but it seems that
Stronger colors (Hot colors) are back in favor.
Iris-wise the hot sellers at our club sales were all the deep purples/blacks
(sold out first) followed by the "flashy-trashy" colors (NOTORIUS etc.) and
the strong bicolors.
On the other hand Pinks were also sold out early, as were the Reblooming
Iris.
My own favorite Louisiana is Kentucky Cajun - a very clean Dark Violet with
a sharply defined, bright gold spear signal.
