Re: Future trends in colours

From: <ItsRoTalk@aol.com>

I can see it now...some stick-thin model carrying purple and orange Irises
down a runway at a garden show!!! And the crowd "ooohhing" and "aaahhhing"
over the colors and calling someone a genius because they thought to put the
two together. Like it has never been done before.
I have Iris of every color and yes, some of my purple ones are planted next
to orange ones. But I also have yellow and orange next to black, and red next
to white, etc. I have tried to not have two similar colors next to each other
at all.
Maybe I'm naive because I refuse to plant annuals, so my garden doesn't
change from year to year or season to season. If it won't grow for years, I
don't plant it! I pick out the stuff that is pretty, blooms the longest, and
lives the longest.
If there are trends out there for my garden, I have no idea what they are.
But maybe I'm going to be a "trend-setter" (better than an Irish Setter!!)
this year since I have dark purple verbenum planted around my mailbox, in
front of Stella D'Oro daylillies!! Yee Haw!! Wonders never cease!

apologizing for being crabby today!
