And I thought, well heck, I have a whole section of my perennial bed devoted
to purple and orange that I have been feeling really guilty about because they
are supposed to clash according to the color wheel. I was thinking about
letting the yellow calendulas take over instead of the orange because I am not
going to move the purple irises. But now that I know it's the trend of the
future, I think I will do whatever I want. I'm not sure I like the idea of
gardens being hip or trendy.
