hmmmm, seems i have started some controversy with my preen question in several
areas.
my name is linda and i live in springfield oregon. i am 44 years old, married
20 years, have a 18y daughter and a son 17y. i do several kinds of
needlework, read voraciously/eclectically(sp?), use the computer (a lot) and
garden. when the muse is active i do rather well. my gardening ability and
knowledge is in pretty good shape but time limits, kids won't do yardwork
except to mow, husband is 'i work all day' and i procrastinate. am very
overweight, have asthma and diabetes so bending/kneeling/squatting to do
gardening in any temperature is difficult. add to this that i have a 'weeding
backlog' and weeding chemicals are a legtimate question and solution.
i grew up in columbus ohio, you might say i went from the bucks to the ducks.
met husband in monterey ca, lived in athens greece where dtr was born, then
lived in in odenton md( :)south of bawlmer, north of deesee, west of naplis,
and east of formeed). moved to oregon where husband was raised in 91. love it
here, best shopping, attitude, and weather i have ever seen. you can' spit
and not hit a espresso stand, chinese restaurant, bookstore, stitchery shop.
quite a few major gardening concerns too.
if there are any other questions, i will be happy to answer whatever ones i
prudently can.
