Grrrr...you are beating me.  I only have about 20 species, but I have 140
cultivars.  :)  I, too, am in Zone 6 and I just received some arils.  I
planted all my 100% arils and 3/4-breds in 25 quart containers filled with
quick draining cactus soil.  I have no idea if this will work, but I know
that the pure arils would die in my regular garden.

I would recommend that you do something similar with any arils or 3/4-breds
you have.  The 1/2-breds and 1/4-breds sould do okay in regular garden
conditions.
