Hi Chad,
I planted my seeds in pots with 6" tops. I put as many as 70 seeds to a
pot. At this rate you could have over 300 to a gallon pot, but the
smaller pots will be easier to handle when you transplant. The small
pots with about 30 seedlings were easy enough to handle, and you
probably wont get 100% germination. BTW when I transplant, I plant in
blocks rather than rows. The soil left in the pot is spread amongst the
seedlings from that pot. This way, any seed which germinates late can be
identified.
