HYB: making a fantasy iris

Ok, Neil, anybody else who wants to play...Francelle posted a photo of
JOAQUIN LADY, which seems to be a good start towards the "make believe"
iris I manufactured from a photo of ABOUT TOWN & posted the other day.

Now what should I cross it with - maybe a pink ground luminata? Seems
like somebody has one...Then a dash of one of Mid America's blue black
bicolors? Or should I try for a blue black luminata first?

Or is JOACHIN LADY so hafty that I probably won't be able to get to my
fantasy iris from her?

Since this is all make-believe, it doesn't matter whether or not I can
actually grow the irises...maybe somebody else in better growing
conditions will be inspired to try.
