The Daylily BERTIE FERRIS was hybridized in Texas [around Dallas] so it
should be fine anywhere in Oklahoma. As a general rule, in Zones 4b to 8a,
one could grow any Daylily regardless of foliage type. From Zone 4a northward,
stick with Dormants unless you can find the Semi-Evergreens or Evergreens
locally. From Zone 8b southward, go with Evergreen unless you find the Dormants
from a local source. To compound things some, there are some Dormants that will
grow fine well into Zone 9. If you have any further questions with
Daylilies, feel free to ask me off-list.
