Well, we've actually had a few freezes this year; not "hard" enough to kill my
cherimoya but enough to make the red bananas and philodendrum evansii pretty
ugly for the time being.
Must be why Stingray is sulking; only 8 stalks on it right now (out of about
eight square feet of clump, a bit sparse-looking due to the usual winter
foliage loss). Nothing else is blooming here at this time (at least in the
way of iris).
