RE: AIS: REF: AIS as International Registration Authority

 Hi,

With this discussion I would like to offer a case in point to consider.

I have a lovely Iris in my garden that I will call xyz.  I have shown this
Iris and sold it too under the name given to me when I bought it.  Recently
while looking in Iris Photos guess what, I came across the name, looked at
the Iris and thought to myself.  WELL! That is not the Iris I have.  Just
recently the same Iris came to my attention on another site.  NOT the one I
have either.  The Iris in question will be gone from my garden when I dig
next year.

So, I can't identify the Iris I have but it clearly is not the one I have
seen pictures of.
