CULT:REB:stalks

I've just returned from a stalk cutting round of the iris garden. Standard
advice has been to cut the stalks to prevent winter rot. There comes a point,
in the garden of a rebloom hybridizer, where it's difficult to cut all the
stalks!

Normally, I don't cut. This fall, with all the new lovelies, I've been
afraid not to cut!

What's the general consensus? Do you cut or not?
