OT:life

John, I'll apologize right up front for this one. Not on topic.

I'm happy to tell you all that I WILL be making iris crosses in the spring
of 2006!

If any of you heard about the pipe line breaking in KY? That was almost in
my back yard. Just across the creek and less than a mile from me. The leak
created a hole in the ground some 25 X 15 X 5 feet deep. Fortunately, there
was no explosion.

This is the second time in 2005 I've gotten lucky! Maybe there is a Dykes
medal in my future??!! Joking . . . just a way of dealing with the stress.

Don't think heavy gas fumes will hurt plants!?? If I start reporting
strange things in the iris patch this spring, remind me of this incident!
