I asked this same question on the HIPS forum. I had a rebloom on 3 of 12
clumps. Actually the freeze got the last one. I think I have read somewhere that
it can rebloom. I am in NE Mississippi in zone 7. This is the first fall I
have had LAM and it does increase like a rebloomer. Lee Mincy

Thanks, Lee. I appreciate it.

You had no response when you raised the question? Maybe we are onto
something.

I guess I will dig out the Williamson Chronicle and whatever else I have
here once I get the bread dough put down this afternoon. I think there was more
rebloom in past than got commented upon. I sense, but do not know, that that
thing about out-of-season bloom being unnerving to some resulted in less said
about it than might have been done. If it is not predictable it is then out
of season, but if it becomes regular it is also seasonal, I guess.

Phil Edinger once told me that among the more widely grown irises was Lent,
but not in Texas. Maybe it likes cold. We could send some to John Bruce, for
variety. Superb iris. He probably has it. He should have it and 'Rosy Wings'
for sure.

I have not joined that HIPS forum. I would feel some responsibility to
contribute rather than just lurk, and I really do not have time to be a good
member of more fora. I read the Archives here, but drop in on the GardenWeb only
if someone alerts me to something of which I should be aware.

Has anyone on the HIPS forum said anything about another issue of ROOTS? I
got the one in June dated Fall 2005 but that was the last.
