 From what you say you should treat clean hafts as a rcecessive, and work from there.



This is simplifying as there likely are several different traits affecting haft marks.



But treat those with white around beard as being plicata and work from there. Keeping 

in mind that marked hafts and plicata are independent but co-occurring traits in many situations.

For anyone that doesn't like the haft marks?  And the white spots at  the tip 

of the beard?  This would represent years of inbreeding to  eliminate the 

marks.  Then if you add back ONE wrong plant you have to  start all over again?
