I've pondered the same thing with regard to a bloom-out problem I had
two summers ago. I've used a product called Keikigrow Plus on my
orchids and African violets to induce suckers along the flower spikes of
Phalaenopsis orchids and at the base of African violet plants. I've
often wondered if some of this cytokinin would trigger increases if
poked into or rubbed on a rhizome that had bloomed out. Some day, I'll
try it! Another one of those "round tuits".....
