I took a quick look at 2008 checklist. I took samples of how many plants are listed for zone 9 or 10 only rebloom. About 33-40% of all of the 3388 iris listed.
Those that rebloom only in zones 9 and 10 are the preferential vernalization types (aka California rebloomers if you prefer that term)
