Perhaps our rebloomer hybridizers here may have signed this oath from the AIS Bulletin 1963 January #168 p43 article "A Catechism for Prospective Hybridizers of Reblooming Irises", Flanagan, Jr. L E? :)
THE REBLOOMING HYBRIDIZER'S OATH
I, _______________________, do solemnly swear (or affirm) that, from this time forward, forsaking all other flowers and irises, to have and to hoe, in disease and in health, for better or for worse, only reblooming irises or parents of rebloomers, till death does me part, so help me everybody!
