Time, large chunks of time, produces an effective filter for that 
which is good, effective or just plain works.

A look at the Popularity polls sometimes run by HIPS is instructive. 
While not as effective as they could be with more aggressive 
merchandising -- much of value is apparent even working from flawed 
premises and execution.

ABs, BBs, IBs, MDBs, MTBs, SDBs, and SIBs are represented in the all 
time top 30.

Lady Mohr, Elmohr, Oyez and Zwanenburg are grown widely. MTBs such as 
Honorabile, often contest for the top spot in any given year. The 
Siberian, Caezar's Brother always places in the top five.

It is not as bleak a LANDSCAPE out there as I seem to see represented 
in recent postings.
