Funny thing about hot peppers, only mammals seem to be able to taste the
*heat* - mix a little oleoresin capsicum with your birdseed and no more
"tree-rats" raiding the bird feeder *g* In fact, there are commercial
"squirrel-repellant" treatments & treated birdseed based on oleoresin
capsicum.
