Re: OT-CHAT: Handling a dead horse

From: StorYlade@aol.com

Fellow Talkers,

How do you handle a dead horse? Bury it. (Farm girl here.) How do you bury
a techno-horse? Delete. Delete. Delete!

Adherence to the tag lines would make life simpler for those that read/use
them. The only filter I use is my eye; however, a tag line that reads
"Rebloomers" and discusses something entirely different makes MY life a
little more frustrating. But, it isn't the end of the iris world, as I know
it.

It would seem, to me, that the Tags are designed to deal with these matters,
whether they be dead horses (read subjects) or uninteresting topics (to each
his/her own). There are listers whose opinions I value enough that I will
read everything they write, even if I don't necessarily enjoy the topic, but
we can't all be interested in everything OR the opinions of everyone. A
selective delete makes life happier and list reading quicker.

The archives are always handy if you make a mistake.

Just my opinion. Another .02.

Betty from Bowling Green, KY (Zone 6). As observed elsewhere, I've make it
my practice, in recent months, to stick to the loft. It's safer up there.
Now you see me, now you don't . . . opps!
