Hi Cathleen
It depends how different the parents are and what recessive genes they
carry,
eg I've crossed Yaqinna Blue with Scented Bubbles. so I expect not much
variation in colour and will selct on bud count, braching vigour, rebloom
etc.
However a wide cross between say a varieagata (yellow and red) with a blue
plicata could give a mix where every seedling was a different colour
Try it and see
