I have to admit that one of the most frustrating things for me about
this list is that, for some reason unfathomable to me, folks that
receive abusive, nasty, or otherwise obnoxious notes are unwilling to
forward them to me, but are willing to say to the list that they have
gotten these nasty-grams and are consequently leaving the list.
I just don't understand. Why allow youself to be bullied away from
something you enjoy? I guarantee that if someone is an obnoxious poster,
and fails to respond to a courteous request to cease and desist, they
will be bounced off the list.
Let me know if this happens to you. I have heard rumors about some
folks, but I have to have exact information. Simply forward the post to
me. Frankly, if I deal with a flamer once or twice, it will probably
cure most of the problems. Once the culprits realize they will be
exposed to the light of day, they will more than likely go quiet.
