I find all this appalling! Why aren't you people sending this sort of garbage 
to Jones so he can deal with the culprits? It distresses me no end to think 
there is this sort of undercurrent to our list and that people are getting 
this sort of manure in their mailboxes and just suffering with it privately! 
I've never gotten an abusive letter, but if I did, and if I could not just 
write it off as a good person having a crisis that was egregiously affecting 
their judgment, I assure you I'd rat them out to Jones immediately. That is 
what he is for, after all. This is not Usenet!
