Rose--
The champions here are the Dutch irises. They are far and away
the favorites of florists. A good second are many of the Spuria
irises. Many of the rest do pretty well too. When I pick some
bearded ones to last a while, for example, I try to select ones with
a high bud count, and at least a few buds that are mature when I
cut them--these open when the original flowers fold.
