Reticulata 'George' is blooming here in central Virginia, too, with I.
histrioides about to open. In the greenhouse, I. japonica is well-budded.
AND there is a suspicious swelling at the base of a fan of I. cretica in
the garden!
We also have good buds on Neomarica gracilis, but nothing so far on very
large, robust plants of Neomarica caerulea. Trimezia martinicensis has
been blooming off and on since Christmas.
