Yes, exactly my experience too. It was my first "iris-only" book
experience, and I dove straight for the genetics stuff too. I was totally
overwhelmed, but I found if I read through it in small chunks, some of it
actually sunk in & made sense. The things that didn't make sense, I asked
about on Iris-Talk, and usually somebody was able to dumb it down enough
for me to comprehend.
TWOI is a good book, but I get more use out of Kohlein's. But I get even
more use out of my "The Louisiana Iris" book. But most of my knowledge
still comes from Iris-Talk and the LA-Iris chat list.
