OK, I know I have a tendancy for contrariness, but I honestly believe 
Dennis' recommendation is quite a valid one.
I started with Kohlein (not a lot available in Aus) and made a bee-line for 
the section on genetics, which, admittedly, was heavy reading, but 
interesting enough to suck me into hybridising.
Yes 'The World Of Iris' is a little easier to understand. These 2 books were 
the ONLY place I found the information I required as a 'beginner 
hybridiser', apart from on this list. I take it Dennis (as a fellow 'novice 
hybridiser') would agree with me?
Mike sounds as if he has a working brain to me. I think he will find both to 
be interesting reading.
