My infamy has spread far and wide. Same with Ernie "Wormy" Royal.
Great fun at the potluck & I came away with two door prizes - one for
having grown irises longer than anyone else at the meeting, having
started as a kid with germanica. One of our fellow listers (Jean
Batterman sp?) helped do a hysterical skit composed mostly of 200 iris
names.
Someone even brought in a couple of TB bearded iris blooms from
rebloomers that were dug last fall and brought into a greenhouse to keep
them from being frozen.
