AIS:Youth Essay Contest

From: Ray & Judy Keisling <keisling@swbell.net>

This message is being posted on behalf of AIS Youth Chairman Jean
Morris. The topic for this year's youth essay contest was announced in
the January bulletin. The original deadline for submitting entries was
March 1.

According Jean, as of today, no entries have been received. Because of
this, the deadline has been extended to at least March 15.

The essay topic is: What do you feel adults in your iris society could
do to make iris activities more enjoyable for youth members?" The essay
should be 500 or less words and submitted to Claire Honkanen, P.O. Box
235, Isle of Palms, SC 29451-0235.

The writer of the winning essay will receive a $100 cash prize.

If you are or know a youth member, please encourage that individual to
submit an entry.
