Well I finally bothered to make the change. I haven't had a good look yet, but it certainly doesn't look as neat and well laid out as e-groups or one-list was.

You can't actually leave a field empty, which I think is rather a pain. They have the choice of gender as male, female or -. If you click on - the send back a message asking to specify gender. I really think they have no business asking. I am rather surprised they don't ask for sexual preference.
I wouldn't have bothered, but I like to be able to access my account and the archives for other lists which don't have alternative archives.
So now they have an account for an 80 year old Male living in Antarctica!
