Ms Patterson is not representing what I said to her in a private email
in an accurate manner. What I said was:
"iris-talk is not a forum for discussing whether or
not service providers have a right to ask for certain information."
I did not say that she could not help someone understand how to link
accounts as my good friend Rosalie asked.
At the time I also did not know that there was a metholodogy for
managing a Yahoogroups list membership via email without having a
Yahoogroups ID. I have since sent a message to the list detailing how
one can do that so that if you wish to avoid answering the questions
required to get a Yahoo ID (even with meaningless responses) you can
still be a member of the list.
