Laurie,
From your previous posting on this subject, it sounded as if your main
concern was with soft rot during the warmer months of the year. That is not
the most troublesome rot here (botrytis rot at the end of winter is Public
Enemy #1), which is probably why it is not the same irises that are most
rot-prone for Linda Mann and myself. However, several years ago our RVP
asked us to provide a list of the irises we grew that were most subject to
soft rot, and these are the ones I came up with: Gigolo, Juris Prudence,
Land O' Lakes, and Speculator. I would imagine that anything that would
show high susceptibility to soft rot in my dry summer climate and
well-drained soil would be a very poor prospect under your conditions.
