Thank you, Jeff, for responding.  Yes, my Public Enemy #1 is erwinia 
soft rot, though I did have one cv succomb to botrytis last spring.  
Just for future reference, how do you treat your botrytis?

Which did these fall victim to, erwinia or botrytis?
