Hi All,
As you know I volunteer at the Missouri Botanical Gardens here in St. Louis
representing the Greater St. Louis Iris Society. I am in charge of the iris
planting and am going to redo the species bed this year. Iknow there are some
species that are mislabeled in the planting and would love to have a planting
of species that I know is correctly named. We purchase iris for the planting
from money that is raised at our yearly iris sale at the garden as well as
donating the other money to the Botanical Garden. I would love individuals to
give me a list of persons that would sell species to me for the garden
planting. I am interested in aphylla's, different lactea's, pallida's and
others. I wouldn't mind iris species that are endangered. Especially the
bearded ones...We have a good planting of I. laevagata's thanks to Joe Pye
Weed.
