We were also surprised to find two stalks of TB's blooming yesterday. Vic.
Falls (doesn't fall down here) and Well Endowed. I wasn't as surprised to
see VF, but WE was a real shocker!

The iris season is on its way! I have seen the first blooms on the old
purple, white, and yellow irises that always precede even my earliest
medians, but what really blew my socks off - - - was finding two tall stalks
of TBs. We didn't have a no freeze winter like the last two and there
haven't been many warm days. Nevertheless I have tall buds (no color yet)
on Aaron's Dagger and Iceland. They might even be able to bloom, because
there are no freezes in store for about a week.
