What got me started on Iris was a book my mom picked up in a garage
sale a couple of years ago, simply titled 'Iris' by Harry Randall,
written around 1960.
Well, it sat there for a while untouched, but one day I was kind of
doing nothing, so picked this thing up and started reading.....and
reading...til the book was finished. It was just the love of iris,
and the joy he derived from them, that was, at least to me,
infectious. I couldn't wait to start collecting some of my own...and
that was a few years ago, and my enthusiasm has not diminished. I
know this sounds kind of simplistic, but really, that is exactly what
happened.
