Walter,

Unfortunately, it ain't necessarily so! If you look in the '49 Checklist on
the next page after the one you referred to previously, you will find the
following entry:

VIOLET HARMONY. TM-M-B1M (Lowry N.); R., 1948; (Snow Flurry x Cloud
Castle); #L5-42; [].

Look in the alphabetical listing of registrations and introductions in the
'59 Checklist and you will not find any entry for VIOLET HARMONY.

Yet VH received the following AIS awards: HM ('52), AM ('54), DM ('57), all
of which are only bestowed on irises that have been introduced. From what
is printed the Checklists you would never be aware that it was introduced.
