Dear Patricia, I don't know what to think about this peculiar weather, -
don't know if winter is yet to come, or whether to expect Spring! Snowdrops
have been blooming in my front border for 3 weeks at least and I saw 2 robins
3 weeks ago - but have not seen them since! And this week some crocuses
(croci?) have appeared! It makes me wonder about when to plant the Sweet
Pea and Hollyhock seeds you were kind enough to send me. Now or wait until
April? May? when the ground warms u p? It is around 50 to 60 degrees most
days, but drops to 20 t0 30 or so at night and it is cold when the wind
blows, which it does a great deal! And of course we are short of
precipitation! Hope youcan give me some idea about when to put these
precious seeds in the ground. And thank you again! Rosalie nr
