Just got Ghio's new catalog (Bay View Gardens). I like the crazy cover iris
ORIGINAL ART. It's also nice to see IMPRESSIONIST still available somewhere.
It wasted away quicklyin my old home, but it was unique enough that at my new
location and it's current "commodity-level" price, I'll probably pick it up
again. Anyone have it for trade? Generally, I'd love to trade with anyone
interested in a mutual exchange of quality rhizomes of recent intros. Anyone
interested, please contact me off-list. I have many recent Ghio things, and
lots of others from Keppel, Ernst, Sutton, Hager, Schreiners, Blyth, etc.
Ghio usually sends really fat and healthy plants. Of particular interest is
his "bargain section". Selections from $6-$8 this year include such prime
specimens as ETHEREAL VOICES, EXCLUSIVE DESIGN (this one I don't have yet),
POEM OF ECSTASY, ENVY OF DRESDEN, and GAELIC JIG.
