If you get the chance to go, do so. I've just come back from 4 days in Seoul
(mostly work). It's wonderfully easy to get around, great fun, very helpful
people, and very safe. I wandered alone through all sorts of little back
alleys away from the main tourist areas and always felt conpletely safe. If
your interested in gardens I wouldn't recommend winter, extremely
cold and bare. I'd love to visit in April. I had to mentally paint in the
azalea and wisteria blooms etc.
