Mark, don't you just love the blue-eyed grass!  I try to transplant it  as a 
border around some of the iris beds.  And it looks so beautiful on a sunny 
day!  But I didn't know it originated in Florida.  I thought it bloomed 
everywhere like  "weeds".  Someone gave me a planting of pink, but it is 
lost, probably due to some non-discriminating weedier!  I try to point out 
the difference from grass. The  blue-eyed comes up sort of concentrated from 
a teeny-liike rhizome.  Rosalie nr Baltimore USA  zone 7?  EVERYthing is 
buried under 2" of snow, which I am afraid is turning to ice.
