Which of the recentish Ghio introductions are the best performers in the
'slough of despond'?

The two that I grow that do pretty well are VIZIER (1998) and ROMANTIC
EVENING.  Older MONTEVIDEO was good here, tho I think I finally lost it
to weeds in a messy border, and LADY FRIEND does well if it doesn't get
hit too hard by erratic late freezes.

I love the photo of BLONDE BOMBSHELL (1996).
