Thank you Betty and Neil,
Betty, the checklist data is exactly what I needed to close the gap in my
tree branches.
Neil, that's a good suggestion about the HIPS site, I had already looked
there, but maybe not well enough.
Anyway, it looks like NEW PERSPECTIVE's parentage 'should' produce flatties,
or at least the FAIRMONT side should. Still in the dark about COLLAGE, but
that may play a key role too, since it's on both sides of the pedigree.
When I was flipping through my notebook, the hunchback bellringer in my
brain saw that PINK ANGEL was present in the pedigree of FIMBRIATED SPACE
who I had purchased based on the high dosage of MILL RACE in one half of
that pedigree. PA also shows up in the pedigree of CRYSTAL DAWN who is a
'lost' parent of two 'lost' flatties. But I had a hunch on the gut level
that somehow BEVERLY SILLS, who includes PINK TAFFETA could produce flats if
crossed correctly. Now, I think I'll cross FS with BS and see what
happens.... maybe a nice pink flat?...with serrated styles?
thanks gang
Love pedigrees. Don't you?
