Dave, That's wonderful! I have a big stash of shopping bags. Probably isn't enough bags... but, I can always use roll bags that are also lying around. They were deposited at a friends house because the ground wasn't ready. All that was required of him was to give them a slight watering once a week for about a month. They were then planted with little or no noticeable problems. I still use that method when pressed for time and need to "refresh" the soil. Held this way, I've found that plants will be fine for at least 10 - 14 days out of the ground if they are kept in a cool, shady spot.
