Re: First Question??

I've had some experience with Siberians, and I consider them my
favorites. If you have web access, you're welcome to take a look
at the Siberian section of my iris page, http://www.muohio.edu/~wilsonjh

Your puzzle is a challenge. How long have your new ones been growing
in the new location? That may help us separate problems related to
getting established (condition of divisions, even watering, planting,
etc.) from ongoing conditions (variety, soil, light, etc.)

Variety does make a significant difference on both. If you are
comparing ones like King of Kings and Butter and Sugar to vigorous
ones like Caesar's Brother, that could be the difference by itself.

Are there any other symptoms of the ones barely making it? For
example, are the leaves discolored? Have you never had much
bloom, or did you have lots of bloom one year and minimal plants
the next?

Cheers to Tom for getting this going!
